Lower resolution support for Sports Tracker on Android

One of the main requests related to our Android application has been the support for lower resolution devices (QVGA & WQVGA).

It’s taken a little while but we heard you and are happy to announce that the support has now been added! Just head to Android Market to download the app and it will automatically now also support the smaller resolution Android devices.

As reported by Engadget Sports Tracker is officially headed for Windows Phone in November!

The app comes the with the tried and true tracking features, the training diary and the ability to share workouts on Facebook, Twitter and sports-tracker.com.

In addition to working on the upcoming Meego / Nokia N9 app we have been busy tweaking the other apps as well :) We’ve launched updates for all three platforms and will also be launching a bigger update to the web service in the next week so stay tuned!

Android v.1.6.0 out now with Indoor Mode

Sports Tracker Android v.1.6.0 is now available in the Android Market. In addition to fixing a very annoying Facebook sharing bug (sorry about that!) the new build comes with a new Indoor Mode and support for the new Sports Tracker Heart Rate Monitor.

The Indoor Mode strips the map from the tracking view and focuses on use with a heart rate monitor showing you duration, heart rate and energy. You can also swipe to see the heart rate chart of your workout.

We have also added a handy charge level indicator to keep tabs on the need to charge your new Sports Tracker HRM :)

Nokia has started shipping the first much buzzed about Meego device – the Nokia N9. To celebrate that we’re happy to let you know that Sports Tracker is heading for Meego and therefore also the N9!

Development of the app is in full swing as we speak and here are the first screens to show you what the experience will be like.

The app will feature all the tracking capabilities you’ve come to expect from Sports Tracker and also support for the new Sports Tracker Heart Rate Monitor.

As for when you can get it: We are targeting to launch the app in November. The best way to keep tabs on the progress of this and other developments is by following us on Twitter and liking us on Facebook.
